Lecture:
Guided Implant Surgery, from Treatment Planning to Surgery and Prosthesis Placement
AGD Subject Code: 690
Description:
This lecture will provide an in-depth exploration of guided implant surgery, covering the entire workflow from digital treatment planning to surgical execution and final prosthesis placement. Participants will learn how to leverage digital technologies, including CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and CAD/CAM workflows, to enhance precision and predictability in implant placement.
Key topics include:
Digital treatment planning and virtual implant positioning
Design and fabrication of surgical guides
Step-by-step guided implant placement techniques
Immediate vs. delayed loading protocols
Prosthetic planning and final restoration placement
Through case-based discussions and clinical insights, attendees will gain a practical understanding of how guided implant surgery improves patient outcomes, reduces complications, and streamlines the overall implant treatment process.

Lecture:
Maximizing Predictability and Esthetics in Implantology with Biologically based approaches”
AGD Subject Code: 690
Description:
Biologically-based approaches empower clinicians achieve optimal predictability and esthetics in implantology leading to improved patient-oriented outcomes. This paradigm integrates principles of tissue preservation, guided bone regeneration, and biomimetic design to harmonize function and appearance. Protocols and procedures such as immediate implant placement, soft-tissue management, and the use of biomaterials enhance peri-implant tissue stability while mimicking natural dentition. By leveraging digital workflows and evidence-based practices, clinicians can save chairside time while delivering superlative care to their patients. This approach fosters long-term success, ensuring the seamless integration of implants into the oral environment. In my lecture, you will learn about how to maximize implant treatment predictability using clinically-proven biologically-based approaches, procedures and protocols.
