The Spectrum Denturist Academy (SDA) provides its members with a variety of high-quality continuing dental education opportunities, featuring world-renowned speakers, throughout the year. The SDA is a premier academy offering an advanced level of education for denturists with a focus on implants and other issues of relevance to their profession. As the education landscape of the profession continues to change, we have decided to offer a new format for SDA in the new year. In 2024, we welcomed many SDA members from other provinces and the USA. SDA members could participate virtually but also on demand. In 2025, we will go live with one program that will be streamed for all the members that cannot attend. In 2025, SDA members can once again participate in 4 TIA seminars, 3 of which will be fully Virtual, and one will be In-person. The joint membership option between TIA and SDA has been successful as we now have denturists participate in the TIA courses and dentists participate in SDA courses. TIA is a clinical academy and gives its members the opportunity to engage with experts in implants, implant-aesthetics as well as business, management, and digital workflow. SDA will schedule 4 days of lectures, while TIA will feature 8 days of lectures with more than 16 speakers. We will also create a library of the presentations so members can review them at their own leisure later on.
