From Planes to Precision: Advancing Digital Dentistry with Zirkonzahn’s PlaneSystem® & New Head Tracker
Description:
Discover how to elevate your digital workflow by integrating patient-specific anatomy into every step of the restorative process. In this webinar, we will introduce the fundamentals of Zirkonzahn’s PlaneSystem®, a groundbreaking method to capture and transfer natural reference planes into CAD/CAM design. We will also present the latest innovation — the Head Tracker, a dynamic tool that records real-time patient head positions and movements, ensuring restorations are designed in harmony with functional and aesthetic parameters.
Join us to learn how these technologies can:
Improve precision in full-arch and denture workflows
Enhance aesthetics through patient-specific alignment
Streamline communication between the clinic and lab

3D Printing in the Lab: Improving Results and Reducing Failures
Description:
This technical lecture covers two topics. First, understanding the cause of some of the most common types of 3D print failures, with the aim of preventing them. The second part deals with accuracy of 3D printed models and the various means by which it can be improved. From understanding optimal exposure time, resin behavior and how to compensate for shrinkage, to fine tuning a resin profile to achieve optimal dimensional fidelity.
About the Instructor:
Andre Gaul, C.D.T.
André Gaul is Director of Dental Technologies at DenPlus Inc. A 2018 graduate of the dental prosthetics program at C.E.M., during which he earned two scholarships, he was captivated by digital dentistry early on. When presented with an opportunity to contribute to DenPlus's foray into digital technologies, he jumped at the chance. He has since become heavily involved in CAD and 3D printing, has written a few articles on the subject, and, in 2024, gave his own training on 3D printing in the laboratory to dental prosthetics teachers at Cégep Edouard Montpetit, with the aim of enabling them to integrate 3D printing into the curriculum.
