Karim Sahil is a highly esteemed Master Dental Technologist (MDT) and Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) based in Toronto, Ontario. As the President of the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario (ADTO), he plays a pivotal role in advancing the profession and advocating for dental technologists across the province. He is one of the originators of the Canadian Association of Dental Technology (CADT) and holds the position of president.

With formal training from George Brown College in Toronto and advanced certification from United States, Karim brings deep expertise in a wide range of dental technology disciplines, including ceramics, crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, orthodontics, and implant restorations. Karim operates a state-of-the-art dental laboratory within Yorkville Village Dentistry, where he collaborates closely with dentists and oral specialists to deliver precision-crafted restorations. He is also a recognized leader in digital dentistry, frequently lecturing on digital workflows and innovations at professional conferences. As a featured speaker at Dental tradeshows across Canada, Karim shares insights on the integration of traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital techniques, inspiring dental professionals to elevate their practice.


Alex Chabachevitch is an experienced and successful owner of a medium sized dental lab in the GTA. He has over 20 years of experience managing his lab. The main focus of his workflow being on implantology, crowns, bridges, digital dentistry including digital dentures. Alex is also a partner in Unique Dental Supplies Inc.

Beyond his clinical practice, Corey serves as a brand ambassador and key opinion leader for Vita North America and Straumann, where he develops and delivers webinars, hands-on courses, and live presentations to dental professionals across North America. His educational content focuses on bridging the gap between traditional denture techniques and fully digital workflows, helping clinicians of all experience levels confidently adopt CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing technologies.

In 2003-2006 and 2009-2012 his private dental lab practice specialized in cosmetic restorative dentistry. 2009-2017 he worked as a speaker and trainer for Ivoclar middle east, currently he’s a global consultant and a KOL for Ivoclar.

In 2013, one of his works was awarded the 'Best Esthetic case' prize in MENA magazine and in 2015 he was granted the ‘best contribution in Digital Dentistry Excellence’ award. in 2010, 2011 He taught at the department of Dental Technology at the University of Kalamoon, and today he’s a frequent speaker on international stages, he lectures on various topics such as Ceramic materials, Esthetic solutions in CAD/CAM, Dental teamwork, Advanced cosmetic characterization etc.

As an experienced demonstrator, Aiham passes on his practical skills to dentists and dental technicians in courses and workshops. His work has been published in numerous national and international media including QDT, LMT, Reflect, Dental Labor, Dental News, Dental Tribune, etc.

Dr. Khan grew up in Scarborough, Ontario. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Toronto, Trinity College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in 1997. He then attended The University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001. Dr. Khan served as a dental officer in the Canadian Forces from 1998-2007. Dr. Khan began practicing dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia with the Canadian Forces. In the CF he learned a lot through mentorship with dental specialists and advanced dental training courses.
