Course Description

Instructor Bio

Robert Arvai, CDT

Robert Arvai, born in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 1979, completed his training as a dental technician in Chur, Switzerland, in 2000 after a four-year training program. Until 2009, he worked in various dental laboratories and for several well-known companies in the dental industry, such as Ivoclar and Klema, as a quality assurance technician and head of quality assurance.

After 2009, he moved to the USA for three years, where he worked as a department manager in a dental laboratory. After traveling extensively at home and abroad from 2000 to 2012, he founded his own company, Ardenta, in Chur, Switzerland, in 2012.

Every technician must maintain a high level of scientific knowledge and material expertise in dental technology. Only with a scientific understanding of the materials we work with do we have a chance of achieving predictable results in our cases."

Robert Arvai is the author of scientific articles published in Quintessence Dental Magazine, Dental Laboratory, and various magazines around the world.

Since 2013, he has also been working internationally as a consultant and trainer for Swiss and international companies in the dental industry.

Since 2016, he has been teaching the colloquium “Fixed Prosthetics” at the Master School for Dental Technicians HFZ in Switzerland and became a member of the Bio-Emulation Group in the same year.

Kaveh Shams, DT

Kaveh Shams graduated as a Dental Technician from Lambeth College – in London, UK, in 2010. Since then, he has worked in multiple dental laboratories in London and Toronto. In recent years, his passion for digital dentistry has led him to take responsibility as a CAD-CAM Specialist supporting and coaching dental community members across Canada. He continues serving the dental community as Zirkonzahn’s ambassador and branch manager.
