Course Objectives
Whether it is an edentulous patient that is suffering with loose dentures and sore spots, or a patient that is in a position where they have to lose some or all of their teeth, implant locator overdentures can be a very costeffective and stable solution that can help improve their overall stability and function. This program will focus on both surgical and prosthetic planning and execution for both the already edentulous patient, and immediate implants for the patient requiring tooth extractions. Participants will practice flap design, implant placement, locator insertion and torquing along with full site suturing hands-on using simulated models. They will also perform the prosthetic component including denture preparation and pickup of locator housings ensuring an optimal result for the patient.
