Learn the airway-first diagnostic framework dentists can use to connect growth, function, orthodontics, and TMJ into everyday treatment planning.
Learning Objectives
Explain how craniofacial growth, oral posture, and tongue function influence airway health, TMJ, dental and orthodontic stability.
Learn how to perform an airway-focused dental exam (medical history + exam) and document findings in a standardized, repeatable way.
Apply the 4-Pillar Airway-Centric Treatment Plan framework integrating myofunctional, orthodontics, maxillofacial orthopedics, and TMJ/TMD considerations.
About the Instructor/s

Dr. Rick Soordhar
DDS, DABCP, DFAACP, FAACP, AFAAID, Fellowship from the Oral Surgery Academy of General Dentists
Dr. Anil Rick Soordhar earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 and has since completed over 1,300 hours of advanced continuing education. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain and holds fellowships with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the Academy of General Dentistry (Oral Surgery), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. His expertise spans orthodontics, implantology, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, TMJ and headache therapy, sleep apnea treatment, and full-mouth rehabilitation for patients of all ages.
