Immediate implant placement in Large Defect sites

In today's environment, patients want a tooth replacement as soon as possible, minimizing surgical visits, time in the chair and obtaining a result as quick as possible. But what if there are LARGE defects or INFECTION? Is this possible? The answer is yes! Recent advances in instrumentation, techniques and materials that can help to reduce surgical visits and overall treatment times for patients will be discussed. Treatment options, including immediate anterior (tooth-in-a-day), immediate molar and full-arch solutions (All on X), will be reviewed. The goal will be to provide a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge, predictable treatment options that are currently available for patients.
Learning Objectives:
Understand defects when it comes to location, size and type
Learn what is possible with immediate implants and current bone and soft tissue regenerative techniques
Understand the rationale for case selection and treatment in order to achieve the best outcome for the patient
About the Instructor:
Dr. Azeem Sheikh, a distinguished alumnus of the University of Western Ontario (2003), completed his Implant Training at the University of Toronto in 2005. He runs a referral-based GP private practice in Brampton, Ontario, specializing in Immediate Implant surgery. Dr. Sheikh is a renowned course lecturer and educator on topics such as Implant Therapy, Case Acceptance, and Business, having placed over 6000 immediate implants, including anterior, molar, and full-arch implants. He serves as the Course Director and Clinical Instructor for the Hiossen Basic Implant Training Program and is the founder of the Ontario Dental Implant Network, which provides live surgery mentorship and programs to over 120 dentists.

About the Instructor:
Tala is the founder, owner and operator of DenTala. Graduate of York University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Certificate of Management, Tala has over 15 years of experience in the dental industry. She has achieved a Certificate of Dental Practice Management from the University of Toronto, accompanied with multiple CE courses in Sales, Treatment Coordination, Executive and Leadership Training. Additionally, she has successfully completed trainings at the University of Toronto for the new IPAC standards. Tala has integrated her theoretical expertise, and industry experience toward helping many dental practices achieve success in their business. Passionate and driven, Tala continues to partner up with dentists opening new practices, or desiring more success out of their existing businesses to help them achieve levels of success beyond their expectation.
