Kaveh will demonstrate the capabilities of this state-of-the-art milling unit by Zirkonzahn. We will review the concepts such as double milling, double screw technique and other useful features offered by this milling machine.

 

Kaveh Shams, DT graduated from Lambeth College – London in Dental Technology in 2010. Since then, he worked in multiple dental labs and milling centers in Europe and Canada. He also offered his service to the dental community of Canada as a CAD CAM specialist for numerous dental companies. His passion for digital dentistry made him join Zirkonzahn, and now he works as a CAD CAM expert and the branch manager for Zirkonzahn Canada.

equipment into your already busy practice.

Description:

The most commonly asked questions we receive from clinicians and laboratory specialists is What do I need and How do I get started? This course is designed to help individuals transition digital equipment into an existing work flow without any disruptions to the current process. We will discuss a variety of scanners and 3D printers and how they can save time and money in clinical and laboratory setting as well as how to utilize digital storage and record keeping to be able to free up physical space in the office. The objective of this course is to provide attendees with the knowledge and confidence to be able to successfully integrate digital techniques as seamlessly as possible.

 

Lisa Coffin has been practicing the art of Denturisim since graduating from NAIT in 2010. She has owned and operated a denture clinic as well as associated in several provinces across Canada. Her focus for the past 4 years has been learning the different Digital Denture workflows and the impact they will have on the advancement of removable prosthetics. Lisa strives for knowledge and is passionate to learn and share this information with other like-minded dental professionals.

Synergy through Technology: The restorative
value of a digital workflow from planning to final delivery

This presentation will demonstrate the restorative value a digital workflow offers today’s clinician. If well understood, single units to full arch implant retained options all benefit from today’s digital technologies and new world restorative materials. The emphasis of any full arch solution should always be a hygienic and highly esthetic prosthetic outcome! Technology is now facilitating a modern-day collaboration between the technical, restorative, and surgical teams ensuring not only a predictable surgery, but more importantly a superb restorative outcome! 

 

This lecture will discuss modern-day restorative workflows, digital diagnostic planning with remote communication and material options by showing multiple case studies!

To provide the attendees with a sound understanding of the restorative and surgical options available for restoring implant retained solutions from single units to full arch all-on-x cases! This includes restorative workflows, communication, material options, applications, economic considerations, and the advantages associated with each protocol.    

 

Brian Lee is a specialist within the guided surgery community with a hyper-focus on full mouth restorations from surgery to final. With an art and architecture background from Washington University in St. Louis, Brian has transitioned seamlessly into a 3D software driven role inside the exponentially growing field of guided and robot assisted surgery. For the last five years, Brian has been the co-founder and co-developer of the NavaGation Synergy surgical solutions with Conrad Rensburg and Matt Vrhovac.

Brian is proudly responsible for assisting thousands of successful surgeries around the country with hundreds of hours of chair-time experience. Before joining Absolute, Brian was a technical designer at Ralph Lauren for 4 years.
