About the Instructor:

Kaveh Shams graduated as a Dental Technician from Lambeth College – in London, UK, in 2010. Since then, he has worked in multiple dental laboratories in London and Toronto. In recent years, his passion for digital dentistry has led him to take responsibility as a CAD-CAM Specialist supporting and coaching dental community members across Canada. He continues serving the dental community as Zirkonzahn’s ambassador and branch manager.

With a passion for both technical and clinical techniques he is certified in Bio-logic, BPS and SDC denture concepts and is a ZunstZhanWerk “Art of Denture” award winning Denturist, he is a sought after consultant and opinion leader in the Denturist and Lab community.

Ali Rezaei

Ali is the President of Canadian Dental Laboratories LP. Ali has a track record of improving results in fast-paced and growing organizations in the healthcare, food & beverage, household & personal care, and chemical industries. A customer/people-oriented, hands-on professional who builds high-performing teams and manages direct reports by coaching and training, migrating their operation to rely on systems, tools, processes, and teams vs. individuals. Led consolidation of facilities, greenfield projects, due diligence, closing, and integration of add-on acquisitions. Ali has a Master, of Manufacturing Management from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science, in Mechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology.




Julian Kempnich

Vice President at Swiss NF Metals

Julian Kempnich, Vice President of Operations at Swiss N.F. Metals started working for Swiss N.F. Metals in 1991 after graduating from George Brown College. Julian has focused over 30 years on refining his technical knowledge of the different restorative materials within the industry. Julian conducts technical support overviews on restorative materials, attachment, and implant products, traveling extensively through Canada and the US selling to Dental Labs and Denturists
