Course Description
This Lecture/workshop is designed to expose modern dental offices to the latest in digital technologies. It will include hands-on components to allow for team members to experience the technology. From scanning patients, chair-side same-day crowns to 3D printing models, examples of digital workflows will be demonstrated. This lecture is intended for practice owners and staff and will detail the steps needed to incorporate digital technology involving the entire dental team. Additionally, samples of various digital workflows will be shown to demonstrate the added services that a digitally integrated dental office would offer.

About Dr. Amarjit Rihal
Dr. Rihal obtained his DMD degree from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1995. His professional interest has involved all aspects of implant and CAD/CAM dentistry. Dr. Rihal has acquired expertise in CAD/CAM based prosthetic dentistry, involving numerous CAD systems and materials. He currently manages operations of his in house lab Lodge Dental, and is the owner of his own digital lab called Rihal Digital Designs. He is a principle partner in a large group practice in Winnipeg and serves on the boards of the Manitoba Dental Association, National Dental Examination Board and the current chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. He was also a part time instructor at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry and is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists and International College of Dentist.
